the good times
« on: October 24, 2021, 09:09:07 am »
a. That was the good time of my life.
b. Those were the good times of my life.

What is the difference in the meanings of those sentences?

Many thanks.

b is fine and refers to several individual occasions that were good.
a presumably tries to reflect just one time or period; so it is best rephrased as: That was the best time of my life.
Best wishes,
