Are these sentences in "passive voice"?
1. I was given the money.
2. I was given the money by my parents.
I thought there was a rule that passive voice cannot have the indirect object from the active version of the sentence as the subject of the passive version. I consulted an online grammar book and it refutes this, saying only that if the indirect object is the subject, "to" must be used.

Many thanks!
