Hello friends,
I am Annabel, I love idioms and usually try to know utmost about every single idiom I come across.
I know that meaning of at the drop of a hat idiom is to do something instantly without hesitating.
But I wonder if somebody know where this idiom was originated. I have tried all, I couldn't find the origin of this idiom, please if anybody have any clue about it's origin, please post in reply.
