Participle phrase
« on: October 14, 2013, 04:15:45 pm »
Hi friends,

Is the following phrase right? 'After having warmed up'
Is it also right to put it this way? 'After warming up'

Thanks in advance!

Both are fine. The first implies a little pause between the warming up and the subsequent action - the second implies almost continuity.
Best wishes,
