For the first time I've learned to use grammar and tenses properly.
There were many helpful tips and suggestions in the discussions.
The speaking and discussion lessons have the right mix between spoken and improving the grammar.
It was a nice time with the team of very experienced trainers.

Website is very information and well structured.

I've missed pictures from Kate, Emma and Margaret.

I'd suggest to add also pictures of younger people/students on the first page to give the visitor of your website the feeling that all groups of ages are welcome.

I've also missed a online guestbook where students are able to write down their experience (good) with the LEC. Could be a reason for choosing LEC as a training centre and not another one.

Brand new for me tools for the research (particularly grammars), created by founders schools helped me to break a lot of barriers and stereotypes. Ich kann diesen Kurs uneingeschränkt empfehlen und jeden nur beglückwünschen, der die Chance hat hier Englisch zu lernen. Eine Woche hier ist meiner Meinung nach effektiver als wöchentlicher Unterricht mit vielen Schülern. Als Kauffrau kann ich sagen, das Geld ist gut investiert, auch wenn eine andere Lösung auf den ersten Blick „günstiger“ erscheint.

Am Schluss noch etwas wichtiges für alle die denken die englische Küche ist nicht so besonders... Hier wird man vom Gegenteil überzeugt!

I can recommend this course unconditionally – and can only congratulate anyone who has the chance to learn English here. A week here is, in my opinion, more effective than weekly classes with many students. As a businesswoman I can say that any money is well invested here, even if at first sight another solution appears “more favourable”.

Finally, something important for everyone who thinks that the English cuisine is not that special ... they will be convinced that the opposite is true here!

It's my first time to be in LEC. Before coming I was really wondering whether it would be helpful. Because it's only 2 weeks' training. But,at the end of the course, I changed my mind completely. The customised course concentrated me on improving my weakness in English. I learnt a lot of new knowledge and effective methods about learning English which I had never known before. These will also be helpful to my continous learning. All teachers in LEC are very kind and rich experienced in teaching non native-speakers. Now I'd say it's really worth to have English training in LEC, even though only 2 weeks.

Das Lydbury English Center ist sicherlich eine der besten Adressen, um in England englisch zu lernen. In einer landschaftlich schönen Lage kann man hier, in sehr kurzer Zeit, seine Englischkenntnisse deutlich verbessern. In der sehr persönlich geführten Schule herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre, da macht Sprachelernen Spaß! In zahlreichen Unterrichtsstunden, teils als Einzelunterricht, teils in Kleingruppen (abhängig vom gebuchten Programm), werden den Schülern die entscheidenden Dinge der englischen Sprache vermittelt. Die Schule ist technisch hervorragend ausgestattet, so dass auch Präsentationen mit anschließender Videoanalyse möglich sind.

Für ausgezeichnetes Essen sorgen die beiden Köchinnen der Schule, Christine und Mandy. Ich denke gerne an die schönen Abendessen mit Rita und Duncan zurück, bei denen man die Gelegenheit hat, das tagsüber Gelernte praktisch anzuwenden.
