We have a wide range of dictionaries and reference materials available for students to use, but we recommend that you bring information and material related to your job, epecially if you want to work on this during your course.

There is free WiFi internet access at the centre. You can bring your laptop or you can put the information on a memory stick and use one of the computers available in the student area.

Lydbury North is located in the countryside, so you do not need to wear smart clothes at the Centre. We try to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere throughout your stay. During the winter months we advise you to bring additional warm clothes as our training rooms and your accommodation are in different buildings.

The area around Lydbury is ideal for walking and jogging, so please make sure you bring suitable footwear.

Remember to bring a current driving licence if you wish to drive our student car.

Finally, we still use sterling and not Euros - you might like to bring some pounds with you.

Siemens Testimonial

English training in Lydbury is very well received by our learners. Most of them decide for the combination course. Even when they have stayed just for one week they become more fluent and gain self-confidence in using English in their daily (business) life. Most wish to have stayed longer or they aim to come back for another round of training if budget and schedule allow it.

The owners spare no effort in organizing training that is customized to individual needs in a very relaxing atmosphere. Our colleagues always comment very positively on the accommodation and the food.
