such a mistake
« on: August 13, 2019, 09:00:44 pm »
Are these sentences correct:

1) In writing the agreement, he made such a mistake that neither I nor you were accountable for anything.
(as the result of his mistake, we weren't accountable for anything)

2) While playing the game, he made such a mistake that you cannot believe.

3) While playing the game, he made such a mistake that you cannot believe it.

4) While playing the game, he made such a mistake that you cannot believe that he made it.

Gratefully,
Navi

#1 is fine. But it should be neither you nor I; always put the other person first.
#2 - no
#3 - OK
#4 - too verbose
While playing they game, he made such a mistake as you would never believe.
Best wishes,
