$50-$60 million a year industry
« on: February 14, 2019, 05:33:20 am »
Hello,

Is it OK to leave out hyphens in the modifiers below and just use a dash for the ranges? Are the examples below clear? No recasts, please.

Ranges
a 20-30% a year increase in sales
a $60-$70 million a year industry
a $15-$20 a month deduction

Stand-alone items
a 30% a year increase in sales
a $70 million a year industry
a $20 a month deduction

All examples above look good as presented?

Thanks  :)

They look fine to me. You could probably leave out the $ in the second and third ranges - but I'll leave that for others to comment.
Best wishes,

Yeah, they all look OK.
I think we've been here before with these questions. Same test perhaps.
