I would appreciate it if you could help me with the following question.

"Select the one that DOES NOT fit.
 At a crime scene
A: Were you in the bank at the time of the robbery?
B: Yes, I was, officer.
A: Tell me what happened.
B. The robber ran in carrying a gun. He had a stocking over his face. I was very frightened.
A: Would you be willing to come down to the station to make a statement?
B: [A. I would be happy to     B. No problem   C. That's fine     D. Yes, I do     E. Yes, I would]."

Could you tell me whether the inappropriate one should be "D. Yes, I do"  or E. "Yes, I would"?

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much, Mr Baker!

At first, I thought "do" in "Yes, I do" does not correspond to "would" in "Would you...."  Then I checked a dictionary, which says 'In response to a question like "Would you help us?", you cannot answer it by saying "Yes, I would." You should say, "Certainly, I will."' So I was confused.
But in this case,  should I think that it means "Yes, I would (be willing to)." and therefore, is appropriate?

I really appreciate it.

Yes. I think D is the only one that is an unacceptable reply.
In everyday speech, A, B, and C all work. I think A is the most likely.
I can't see that 'Would you be willing?' could be answered by 'Yes, I do'.
