HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Any story to tell?  What have you all been doing? I am having my 6-yr-old fence repainted; it is almost done.

Not really much out of the ordinary, JTL.
We always go to a nearby town (Malanda) for the New Year's Eve Dance they hold there. Lots of our friends are there and it's a happy occasion.
And we worked today, as New Year's Day is usually one of the busiest days at work. It was a bit quiet today though, as people get a hint of a cyclone and don't come north. Cyclone Penny is well north of us and we are not affected, but the media reports give the impression that all of Queensland is bracing for a blow. Media hype.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL

Happy New Year from here, too.  ;D
