For Mr Tasker

Mr Tasker, I'm sure other members of the forum have read with interest your thoughtful and informative replies to some pretty curly questions. We would like to welcome you to the Lydbury forum and thank you for taking such care in providing detailed and very helpful advice.
Perhaps you would like to tell us whereabouts you are from and a little about yourself?

Thanks for the kind words. I'll do my best.

I thought the board would be more technical - parts of speech and defining clauses and wotnot (I mean to learn from rather than to answer), but such postings seem to be few and far between. Never mind, it's also interesting to see my own language from the outside in.

Welcome! Of course you can also ask questions if you want to discuss a particular subject.  :D
